The two-piece construction features an interconnected folding base with four intricately pierced, scroll-shaped legs that sync seamlessly into guides on the reverse of the tabletop. Designed historically as highly portable travel or campaign furniture, it folds completely flat for easy storage. It features a wonderfully rich, dark grain and a well-developed natural wax patina, making it an excellent statement lamp or wine table beside an armchair.
